John Myer is a native of Louisiana who moved to Ohio back in the mid-eighties (his accent has yet to completely disappear). He has crisscrossed the globe on ministry adventures from Africa to the Far East and has been involved in everything from church leadership, church planting, and conference preaching to campus work and long-term ministry training events. Now John brings his experience to bear in planting and leading Grandview Christian Assembly. He has been married for 25 years to Aleisha, who also hails from his tiny Louisiana hometown and perfectly understands his occasional use of “ya’ll” and his infrequent craving for a bowl of gumbo. John and Aleisha also have a daughter, Elizabeth, who is about to become a nurse.  

 

Jeff Friess has been involved in full-time ministry for the last seven years, co-founding Oasis Christian Community on the Ohio State University campus and regularly speaking at regional youth events. Now he provides leadership in the areas of Outreach and Finance in the new Grandview Christian Assembly. Jeff is married to Natalie and has two young kids, Bella and Joey. He likes to play basketball as the self-proclaimed “Shaq Diesel of the Midwest.”
